Another Way to Increase Self-Efficacy

...is to be forced to change your car tire on the way to work at 8 AM.

I can't recommend it, though. Phew.

Ugh. Glad you were able to get it done, though. My self-efficacy when it comes to any kind of mechanical task is pretty much nil. I have historically relied on the kindness of homeless men, guys working security at my employer, and boyfriends to get tires changed. This is probably not a good thing.

Well, I did have help from my breakfast companion, a former coworker. This is fortunate because those SUV tires are heavy.

So I sacrificed some self-efficacy for some self-getting-to-work-on-time-and-not-exhausted.
